Before I could let the movie clip play I had to preload my content just as I would in my primary movie. The .swf file containing the movie clip consists of two scenes. One is the preloader scene which contains the panel and a preloading sequence. The other is the main scene which is used to display the content that has been loaded. Once the preloading sequence has completed, the movie clip continues on to the timeline of the main scene.
